Known as the “locals market”, The Jackson Hole People’s Market is a vibrant farmers market running from 4-7pm on Wednesdays throughout the summer and fall. From June 15th to September 21st, each market draws around 300 attendees to enjoy the relaxed community vibe and to shop from the 30+ vendors of local food and goods. The Jackson Hole People’s market is a zero waste event, and also accepts SNAP benefits and Veggie Vouchers. The People’s Market is a program of Slow Food in the Tetons.
Founded in 2013, Local Food Alliance (LFA)’s mission is to create a robust local food system in the Wood River Valley. LFA collaborates with non-profits, schools, businesses, community food providers and farmers, offering a backbone of coordination and support toward common food-related health, economic and environmental goals. In 2016, LFA merged with Sun Valley Institute for Resilience, a partnership that will increase LFA’s reach and capacity in developing systemic solutions for our community.
